Few weeks ago I saw a blog post of someone talking about retinol. I was very curious and starting doing some research of my own. Basically there is no product in the world that can get rid of your wrinkles except plastic surgery and lets not go there! However what you can do is apply products that can 'reduce the appearance' of wrinkles.

I am almost 30 and dont have wrinkles but what I am concerned about is lines forming on my forehead and around my mouth. Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that is used in anti-aging treatment. However, be very careful when you use products that contain Retinol. It can cause dryness and breakouts. Also start using very infrequently and then adjust as your skin gets used to it.

After doing a bit of research on this ingredient itself, I got a bit excited and looked for products that contain Retinol. I was baffled at the $100+ creams being offered. I am not ready to throw that kind of money on something which I just want to experiment with. I finally across this product.

From the online reviews RoC Deep Wrinkle night cream delivers as promised. I just got this today and wanted to share it with you all. I will use it for a few months before giving an in depth review of the product.

Have you used any such treatments?

I called a few stores around my area and OPI Black Shatter is just starting to stock up in salons and Ulta stores. I found one at the salon inside JC Penney store. I must say it was worth the effect of finding it this morning.

I applied OPI Jade is the new black and then OPI Black shatter on top.

This is two coats of 'Jade is the new Black'. Once completely dry and without a top coat, I applied OPI Black Shatter.

I think it is an amazing idea. This will give me an opportunity to use up my nail polishes which I am not comfortable wearing on its own. I love it. I am not sure if this is part of the permanent collection.

What do you guys think of this polish?

One of my favorite beauty products is nail polishes. And I am so excited that January brings is some innovation in nail polishes. Most specifically I am referring to the OPI Black Shatter and China Glaze Crackle Collection.

They are set to release on 3rd week of January. The OPI one is is in black while China Glaze is bringing it out in different colors. I will surely post some pictures once I get my hands on it. :)

Today I went to Walgreens and found the new spring collection from Wet n Wild. There were only a few things left on the shelf. With the 50% off, it was a sweet deal. I got four eyeshadow trios. To say the least, they are amazing!

There are six shades available:

*I Dream of Greenie
I’m Feeling Retro
*I Got Good Jeans
*I’m Getting Sunburned
*Silent Treatment
Spoiled Brat

I got the ones that are starred. Here are the pictures and swatches.

"I Got Good Jeans" is a nice combination of gold and blues. I love the crease color.

"Silent Treatment" is a combination of nude-pink shades.

In the green color family is "I Dream of Greenie".

Lastly I have "I'm Getting Sunburned". It is my favorite trio.

I think Wet n Wild has done an amazing job in bringing out theses trios. The pigmentation is amazing in each quad. Even the green one is not chalky or flaky. I am looking forward to playing with them some more.

Go check these out at your local drugstore! :)
