Nars 'Spring 2010 Collection' features a nail polish in color 'Purple Rain'.

Nars describes this color as "This intensely gothic purple is a bright and audacious shade destined to become a modern classic".
I am so impressed with the quality of the polish. This is just one quick coat applied in store. My local Sephora was sold out of it :(. However it can be purchased at
sephora.com
I am looking forward to more colors in this new formula Nars has introduced with this collection.

I just got back from nordstrom. they are doing the presale but not letting me pick up stuff from counter. However, if i order online on their website and say pick from store, that goes through.. WIERD!!
anyways, the collection looks great in person. I loved the fresh salmon lipstick. On my lips, it was a tad lighter than Viva Glam Cyndi. So i got cyndi. :) Laugh alot l/s was awesome in tube but didn't do much on my lips.
Blush Ombres were awesome. I have swatched them here.
My favourite was 'Ripe Peach' and 'Azalea Blossom'.

Swatches of blush ombres:

The pigments stacks were alright.. but i loved the neutral quad. The pigmentation was awesome and its just awesome for a neutral look. I think I will order that. I actually liked the new quad design. I thought I will love the purple one but it was just meh... for me.
Overall, the collection has a little something for everyone :)
It is available for purchase online at mac cosmetics, check it out:

Enjoy the early release!! :)

The newest addition to the primer portion family is called 'Eden'.
It works on the same principal as the original primer portion but this one is matte and has yellow undertones.
This is specially advantageous to those who want color correction on the lids. It can be used as concealer. I think it is comparable to the matte yellow paint pots from MAC namely Soft Ocre.
It is available at
sephora.com but only only available to beauty insiders only at the moment.
However, the biggest con for me is the packaging. In spite of people declaring how much they hate it, I wonder why Urban Decay doesn't change it. It would be alot better if it came in a pot form.
Anyhow, a great product to prevent creasing and color correcting all at the same time. :)
