One of the most popular eye primers discussed in the makeup world is the Urban Decay's primer portion. It is a nude cream based primer that if used under eyeshadows enhances the color and prevents creasing.
Other rival products are the TooFaced shadow insurance and MAC paintpot (Painterly). Too faced's product is well liked by everyone. I like the packaging because product comes out nicely and doesnt dry up. MAC's product is my favorite to make the colors pop but when it comes to oily lids, this will not be of much use.
Urban Decay's primer portion prevents oily lids very well too. However one thing I absolutely dislike is the packaging. It dries up way too quickly and when you are nearing the end of the product it is so hard to get it out. I think to counteract that product they have released a new packaging with bent wand. I havent tried it so I cant say how well it works.
One workaround to the drying out problem is that to take it out in a small container with a tight screw on lid.
Overall I must say I really like Urban Decay's primer portion. It comes in one other called "Sin" which is like a champaign color. I havent tried it yet but I have watched a few youtube tutorials when people have used it for neutral looks and I love it. It is the next thing on my list to buy items.

Stila's summer collection called "Indian Summer" is now available for purchase on their website.
The best product I like out of it all is the eyeshadow quad. However, I think the colors are easily dupable with MAC eyeshadows.
Eueshdow quad's description from Stila's website:

The smudge pot is blackish with gold infusions. Since it has an indian theme, it revolves around gold undertones. Packaging is super cute with gold and "bindi" (Its a motif or decoration that Indian woman use on their forhead).

This is my first post of the "What to pair with" series. Often before putting on eyeshadow I am confused as which shadow should be paired with what. So I decided to start this series and help others like myself. :) Hope you enjoy!!
STARS N ROCKETS (VELUXE PEARL)
1) Satellite Dreams in Crease with Stars N Rockets all over the lid.
2) Moon's Reflection on 1/3rd inner eye. Stars n Rockets on outer half upto crease. Shadowy Lady on Outer corner.
3) Butternutty Shadestick (from Sugarsweet collection) as a base, Stars N Rockets on the inner ½ of lid, Coppering on the outer ½ of lid.
4) Shimmermoss and Stars n Rockets on lid.
For all these looks, you can deapen the outer v with carbon. I think dazzelight works as great inner tear duct and highlight color with Stars n rocket.

This is one of the well known drugstore makeup brands out there. I had heard alot about it so this weekend I thought i will go and check out what this fuss is all about.

Overall, it was not a huge collection of makeup (atleast not at the walgreens i went to). But there were quiet a few things I liked.
The runway eyeshadows had a great variety. Colors were bright and unique. My favourite is coffee shop
The blush in luminious is my favourite one.
The bronzer is really pigmented and gives a nice glow to the skin. I picked up radiant.
